Medicine Hematology

Our Hematology department specializes in a wide range of services. This includes general hematology, providing comprehensive care for patients with hemoglobinopathies like thalassemia and sickle cell disease. We also manage and treat all malignant blood disorders, such as acute leukemia, aggressive lymphoma, chronic leukemia, and myeloma, among others. Additionally, we offer care and management for patients with coagulation or thrombotic disorders like hemophilia or thrombophilia. To meet various treatment needs, we have an apheresis unit that provides treatments like plasma exchange, RBC exchange, or leukapheresis. Moreover, we have a dedicated day care unit for outpatient administration of chemotherapy, infusional treatments, biological agents, or transfusions.
