Biography

Dr. Mohammed Shalaby, MD, is a distinguished Anesthesiologist and Critical Care Consultant at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Abu Dhabi. Leading the Adult Extracorporeal Life Support Program, he's a key member of the Abu Dhabi ECMO taskforce. Dr. Shalaby brings over 14 years of experience from Saudi Arabia, where he pioneered the Extracorporeal Life Support program. Specializing in VV and VA ECMO support for severe ARDS, catastrophic PE, Septic Shock, and E-CPR, he is known for his expertise and dedication to critical care. As an Assistant Professor at Mansoura University, he imparts his knowledge to the next generation of medical professionals.
